Default My setup

I'm going to sell my truck and with that money I am going to buy the big stuff for the Jeep (lift, wheels, tires) everything else will be saved for. I want to go with the Cooper STT 35x12.50R15 and the Crager Soft 8's 15x8's with the Rough Country 2.5". My question is would this be a good setup to begin with?? Also if I went with the 4" RC lift and 35's how high would this set me vs. the 2.5" lift??

I'm guessing 1.5 inches (4-2.5)

But seriously, I'm running a 3.5 inch RE with 35's and do get rubbing with serious wheeling. Depending on the kind of wheeling you do, I wouldn't mix 2.5 with 35...unless it's a system that is easily upgraded (ie. don't throw your money down the drain twice)

The 15s are the only thing that may cause an issue. The brake calipers are so large in the JK that they cause clearance issue for 15s.

Not sure if the Soft 8s have this particular issue

I am sure if they can be used someone on here is doing it.

I run the RC 2.5 with 35x12.5's, even with front and rear swaybars disco'ed. run into no rubbing issues. Great setup imo.

Running a 2.5" BB here, but then replaced the front spacers/coils with a 3" OME HD coil. It levels the 4dr nicely, gives me about a 3.5" in front even with 200# added for bumper and winch. Very little rubbing with 35's. Definately not any around town...only on extreme stuff and disconnected on the trails.

As for 15's...my opinion is stay away from them. Easier to just go with a 16 and be safe. Many people not having problems though. Difference between a 15" and 16" is minimal on wheel and tire. I would almost reconsider the 16's on my rig if I was doing it all over and go with 17's...someone recently pointed out that at 17" there are more tire options (styles, brands, etc) that open up at 17". I went with 16's based mainly on price originally.
