With the naked eye, could you tell the difference?
I went with a skyjacker 2" bb and 1.25" wheel spacers and was wondering if you could with the naked eye really tell the difference between a .5" bb and
.25" wheel spacers. Help me ease my pain. I hope I didnt make a mistake going with the 2" instead of 2.5" bb and 1.25" wheel spacers instead of 1.5" By the way I ordered 285x70 17 km2 and they are being mounted on my stock wheels. Thanks
Chris

I have been happy with my 2" bb and 285's, I went with new wheels with more back spacing instead if spacers. Just the more agressive tread pattern and extra width of the tire makes a huge difference in apperance.
Here is mine with the stock 32" tires, while changing out the tires, after the new meats were on and playing in the rocks, I think the change made a huge difference.

The "By Eye" part...maybe not...the clearing rocks part. well, the rock has to be half in lower to clear.

As far as the BS gpes...the OEM section width is 255 mm, a 285 mm section width only sticks inboard 15 mm more than stock...you don't even need spacers for 15 mm if the tread pattern is not too aggressive, and almost any spacer will still work at that point.
That said, I'd rather get another inch of track width or so, with the 1.5" spacers, for more off camber stability, etc.....as section widths less than 13" or so will still clear the fenders with 1.5" less BS, etc.

So - except for having skinnier tires than need be, and hitting 1/2" more rocks, you will be happy.

I can't say about the BB (yet). I had 1.5 spacers and switched to 1.25. That
1/4" is visible. The 1.25 is exactly flush w/ the fenders, the 1.5 goes a lil' past.
I pretty sure I want that same setup.
Could you post some pics when you're done?!?!?

This is a 2.5BB w/ 1.25 spacers and 35" KM2's. This is what I really want, but
with gas prices goin' nuts I am re-thinking my approach.
