Default Need advice

Hey guys I just installed a 4" lift and put 35" tires on my wrangler unlimited. I've never done it before and everything is working great except for my traction control light staying on. Anybody know what it is and what i need to do to fix it??

Is your steering wheel centered? If it is not it will throw off all your ETS lights.

Its not throwing any lights but the traction control light though, I don't know if that means something but you may be right. I appreciate the reply.

If I remember right the pitman arm only goes on one way, there are 2 bolts on youor drag link that will adjust your streeing wheel. There is a write up on Project-JK of how to do it.

This is how you want to adjust it. There is a write up in project-JK that tells how but its pretty easy. I believe it's a 15mm wrench and a pipe wrench or good set of channel locks. Pull in straight and lossen the bolts and then twist the drag link until the steering wheel is prefectly center. Then retighten the bolts problem will be solved.

This is exactly what I did when I lifted mine. It's driven perfectly for a over 1K miles already. No lights, strange behavior, or anything.

Again, appreciate it guys... It was my first install and I called a couple of lift shops and see if they knew anything about it and they acted like they had never done anything like this before and wanted me to bring it in, along w my left nut, so they could look at it...but I'll be back in town this weekend and will give it a whirl...(nice to know I can count on someone when in a bind) ::thumbs up::

When I turn off the traction control it brings up a separate light saying it's off. Does nothing for the actual warning light.
