What is your price range and what size tires do you want to be able to clear?

I'm looking at 35's and price range would be under a grand for now for the lift, should I just wait and spend more?

A pro comp lift is about 800 for a 4.5" lift.

Don't plan on going taller than 2.5" if your budget is at a $1,000. Any taller lift than than 2.5" will be incomplete if it's less than a grand.

Teraflex and Rock Krawler have some nice kits for under $1,000. If you stick with 2.5" you will need to make sure you get:

Coils
Shocks
Front brake lines
Front track bar
Front sway bar end links

These two aren't "needed" per-say, but I wouldn't go without them:

Bump stops
Front lower control arms

You should be able to get all of that for right around a grand.
