Default Need Advice!

i was going to go with a 4 inch lift and 35 inch mud grapplers and new driveshafts on my 2dr 07 rubicon but I dont want to replace the driveshafts right now. Would I have to replace them if I went with a teraflex budget boost?

No, you would not need to replace driveshafts with the 2.5 bb even on the 2door. With the BB and a 1" body lift you could run 35's without anything else needed. The body lift gives room for the tires without raising your center of gravity much and that's a good thing with steep angles off-road. The body lift also doesn't effect driveline angles that will damage driveshafts. This saves you a lot of money for all the other mods you want to do!

honestly, 4" is a lot of lift for just 35's. you should be able to clear them with a 3" lift. but, having said that, no, you would not need new driveshafts with just a BB.

I have the TF BB and have had no issues whatsoever. I am very pleased with it. I am running 34's but a friend is running 35's with no issue on his. The ride is excellent and it is very capable. The terflex rep on this forum is excellent and will answer all of your questions if you ask him. The best customer service I have seen in a long time.

Default Thanks!

I think I am just going to go with the 2.5 TF BB and a 1 inch body lift. What body lift would you guys recommend?

That's a good plan. It will save you money and probably give you more room for flex because you're moving the fenders up and out of the way.

To my knowledge, M.O.R.E., Performance Accessories, Daystar, and maybe a few other companies all produce virtually identical 1" body lifts. The main difference is what the pucks are made out of (aluminum, polyurethane, etc.).

Northridge4x4 has a special right now on Performance Accessories' 1" Body Lift. 105 bucks.

If it is a true 3" lift, let us know when your front driveshaft boot rips and throws grease everywhere.
