Default Need advice on bumpstops..

So I have a Rubicon with a teraflex leveling kit and I just installed some shock extensions and brake line bracket extensions on the rear to gain a little extra flex. So after flexing it out on a dirt mound behind my house I realized that I need longer bumpstops because I am bottoming out my shocks. I figure I only need 1" extended on the rear and 1.5" extended on the front. Anyone have some do it yourself solutions or know of a company that makes bumstop extensions that small?

I have seen the hockey puck trick in the front, but that is only and inch per puck. I am thing that two stack on top of each other would be to much.

Any help would be great.

Ya that could work for the front but I don't think it would work for the rear
The only way I see it working on the rear is if i epoxy it, there is no way to drill through the surface unless I want a hole through my axle.

Hmm. I can't remember what it looks like in the rear. I'll take a look tomorrow and see if I have any ideas

there is a flat spot on your rear axle were the stock bump stop hits. it has a front and rear hole pre drilled. it is a tight fit but all aftermarket stops mount there. if you are cheap just cut a piece of wood out to the size of the square mount area. then drill two holes and bolt it down. you can cut the hockey puck in half for the front to give you your 1.5 inches. metal will also work in the back if you have tools for working with metal that is your best bet. good luck

Ok thanks for the tips. I was thinking off finding some really stiff rubber that is around an inch thick and then cut it so i can mount it to that plate on the rear. Has anyone tried this?
