Default Need advice on lift kit

Hello all I'm planning on ether a 1.5" performance boost from teraflex or a 2.5" spring lift all depending on how much height I will be loosing by adding rock rails, bumpers and winch
LOD front = 72lbs
LOD slider = 120 pair
LOD 3rd gen rear bumper = 120lbs
Warn Powerplant= 100lbs

So thats roughly 412 lbs extra that it'll be carrying around.

So the question is how much height will I be loosing on a 1.5" and on a 2.5"?

I'm sure you will all suggest the 2.5 so I get maximum space

Also do you think with all that weight, I will need to re-gear? I have the tow package so I'm assuming I have 3.73 on my Sahara

Thanks,
Kevin

you should expect to see about 1/2" to 3/4" of an inch of sag depending on the coils you run.

the added weight isn't what will make you want to regear but rather, the size tire you run.

Ok guys I've decided to go with the TF 2.5 coil lift and I'll be staying with my 32" tires for the moment will eventually upgrade to 33".

New question just got off the phone with the dealer and was informed I have 3:21 as my ratio knowing the 412lbs+ of extra weight and the lift and future tire scenario will these gears give enough power?

I would get everything installed first, then drive it around. Don't worry about the gears right now, go play with your Jeep.
