Default Need advice for next upgrade

Up until now I've known what upgrades were most important to me and therefore what order I would tackle them. Now I'm at the point where I have a list of upgrades, but I am unsure what order I need to handle them in.

I am considering the following:
  • EVO Gussets
  • Rear tire carrier (possibly OR-Fab, or maybe RR's XHD bumper w/ tire carrier)
  • Oil pan skid plate

In my mind all these things are equally as important (did I mention that my spare 35 is on the factory carrier), but I am unsure of their order of importance. Due to a rather busy schedule I only make it off-road a couple of times a year, but when I do it's usually a combination of rocks and trails.

What order would you handle these upgrades in?

Yeah, I am a little torn between all of them.

I am starting to think the tire carrier will come last, as it is the most expensive as budget is a bit tight. Depending on if I can convince myself (or not) that I could pick up a welder and do the gussets myself I may do that one first. Otherwise it may be the oil pan skid first.

So many upgrades, so little cash

The factory C's are weak and prone to bending, I'd get those first.

Your list is in the right order. Scratches on factory skid plates are supposed to be there. I've wheeled in the rocks a bunch and still run the factory skids until I can maybe afford some aftermarket ones. They arent a necessity, but I'd say the gussets are, and a tire carrier is close to being necessary unless you dont care about the tailgate.

x2. You think the budget is tight to get a rear bumper, bend the front C's and try to budget a new front axle or the repair costs. Jusy my

Thanks guys.

This conversation definitely is reassuring, as it was very similar to the same arguments I had with myself over which direction to go.

I will be going with the gussets. In fact, the more I think about it the more I am really considering purchasing a welder and re-learning to weld. Obviously not on my Jeep at first , but eventually so that I could do my own gussets.
