Default Need Advise on Lift UPGRADE

Currently running FT 3" Ultimate with HD coils and M Force Shocks with 35" Tires... Now upgrading my font & rear axles to SOLID D60 which will be running 37" Tires...

What are the best COILS and Shocks do I need to replace existing?

I think the best suspension is to take the best components from all the LIFTS available IMHO...

I dont want to use FT longer coils or shocks again wana try something diffrent something better any advise please?

Well I can't say they are "the best", as I have not tried others........

I am very happy with my Currie lift/coils and Walker Evans adjustable shocks, and I run 37s. I went with these because of high quality, strong reputation, and customer service.

To run true 37" tires without any rubbing issues what size in length for Coils & Shocks do I need?

What do you mean by "true 37" tires? Mine are BFG KM2 37s, but measure about 35.5 inches with 30 PSI.

I am unsure about the length of the Currie coils, they only have one option for the JK that I am aware of. The shocks I have from Walker Evans are #500-16-511 and #500-16-595, and provide 11" of travel.

I had to add one washer to the steering bump stop on each side to prevent rubbing on the swaybar. My Walker Evans wheels have 4" of backspace. The only place I rub is in the fender IF I am at full stuff and turn the wheel.

Call Dave at Northridge4x4, he will set you up!

what i meant was true 37" tires in measurement...

How is your ride quality with currie coils and walker evans shocks? Were you uisng any other lift kit before going with Currie? I found my FT HD coils and shocks are pretty harsh....

I am happy with my ride quality, it is a little stiffer compared to stock on the street, but I am expecting it to soften up once I put the weight on with front and rear custom bumpers, powerplant, and armor. Although those shock are overkill for rock crawling, the nice thing is I can dial them in for soft on the street, medium on the fast washboard desert arroyo, or hard for rock crawling.
I went from stock rubi to the Currie lift, so I have no other comparison.

so when you dial in your shocks for street do they make a noticable difference in ride quality?

Yes, on the softest setting (there are about 16 settings on these) they are softer and absorb the pavement bumps smoother but no body rolling around corners or nose dive with hard breaking. Slightly stiffer than stock, but I expect that to change with some additional weight. Right now I am running without a front bumper, no spare tire, and no armor. I used to have a 1 ton Dodge dually and it was harsh as hell, but once I put on a gooseneck trailer that thing rode like a caddy down the road. So I am thinking that once I add another 600lbs of gear and armor, it will settle in, and my lifted JK should ride smoother than stock.
