Default Need anything else?

I just put a TeraFlex Leveling kit and coils from a 2010 Unlimited (....17/front-....58/rear #'s) and it definitely lifted it more than the 2" in front and 1" back.Unfortunately I did not take before/after measurements so I am not exact on how much. Alignment seems fine, all I had to do was center the steering wheel slightly. Is there anything else I should have done? There is no need for adj trackbar/low control arms is there? Front end does seem a little loose hitting bumps at highway speeds. Is this because of the lift?

If you got more than 2" of lift, you probably altered your caster a little and it may have moved your axles slightly off center as well. This will make your handling feel flighty or loose. Those problems are corrected with adjustable track bars and control arms.

I don't plan any extra stuff for my upcoming 2" lift. And ECHO, I think you ran 2.5 Budget Boost without control arms, cambolts, or anything extra? How was the ride?

I was wondering this also? I just installed an rc 2 1/2 lift and it said to adjust the steering i think. but my steering wheel is straight and everything seems to ride like stock, once you said something about the steering feeling loose i kinda started wondering if mine felt looser than before. maybe its just in my head?

The 2010 springs being new are probably stiffer then your worn in 07 springs, hence the added 'lift' I'm sure over time that will sag out a bit. I doubt the 2010 springs are different then 09 and earlier. But since they came off an unlimited and your putting them on your 2 door, they might have different spring rates and be stiffer due to body style/weight? I know the tow ratings change between the vehicles, probably just based on GVRW but the springs might be more stout too on the UNL.

I have 3.5" of lift in the front and 3" in the back and just used a trackbar relocation bracket.. and it's solid.. never get an ESP light, Steering is Centered and Alignment is true..

Any time you change the (CoM) & (CoG) of a vehicle is going to feel different.. I just think its extreme to consider all the extra equipment for a leveling kit & springs, unless he gained more than 3".. Sorry, I may be way off..
I'm not saying he needs it, I just stated what corrects the problem.

Mine was real bumpy and the steering was real loose for the first 40 miles, and like out of nowhere, it was fine. The weirdest thing! The Jeep took bumps so bad I was all over the road at the slightest bump, almost considered taking it off! Maybe the spacers needed to be worked in a little? Who cares! LOL - Good Luck!
