Default Need Back Spacing Help Asap

I ordered rims with 3.75 of back spacing, but am having second thoughts. How far will this stick out past the flares of a four door? I want a little, but not too much. Please help ASAP because I have to let them know right away if I want to change to 4.25. thanks

The stock wheels have 6.25" of BS and with new 12.50 wide tires, I would recommend at least 1.5" less BS to prevent any rubbing. That would put you at 4.75" of BS. Now, with 3.75" of BS, your tires will stick out about an additional inch over what I would recommend as the minimum BS. In reality, I would bet that your tires will stick out past the flares about 3" in total. And, for the size tires you will be running, it'll probably look good. But, if you want to bring it in a bit closer to the flares, 4.25" is what you would want but in reality, it would only be 1/2" less

Thanks again for all the help. I didn't realize that 3.75 bs would stick out that far, too far for my liking. I think I will go with 4.5 of back spacing. I want it to stick out between 1.75 to 2 inches past the flares. Is this about right?

I put on some 315/70/17's with 4.25" BS and they only stuck out about an inch past the flares.
