Need an on board air system
Hey guys -- I'm looking for the best on board air system setup / review / pictures... I'm looking to get something for my birthday as a present to myself and I'm thinking that this might just do it. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Or maybe there is something that I'm missing and should have before an on board air system. Check my sig for things I already have! Thanks!
I ran a #4 wire, protected by a 60amp circuit breaker, to the rear cargo area, with a heave duty quick disconnect plug on it.
My next step is to install a small rack in the back.
The rack will be used to hang an inverter, a compressor, or some other accessory, when needed.
Whenever I want to used the item, I'll just hang it on the rack and plug it into the quick disconnect.
That way I don't have all these accessories permanently mounted.

If you are on a budget, or jsut don't feel like spending alot of dough, then look at the ARB high ouput (constant duty) compressor. Wayoflife did a write-up in the Project-JK gallery. I ma installing it right now. It's small but powerful. It can air up your tires easily and run your lockers. If you run tanks, it can fill those so you can use air tools also. For the price, I don't think you can beat it.
Does anyone know if this guy did a full write up?
