Default Need a good tire!

I know this is discussed in other areas but....... I'm looking for some new tires for a daily driver. I do wheel it quite often, I try to stay out of the mud. I'm going with 35's so I would like something that would last ( higher milage ). I would like to know brand you have had good or bad experience with. Thanks!

Bad experience with 35" Pro Comp MT's. Very poor highway manners, erratic pulling above 60 mph. Scary on grooved pavement.
Thin sidewall flexed too much off road and cut easily.

Great experience with 35" BFG KM2's. Stiff durable sidewalls handle well aired down, quiet tire (for an MT) with good tracking at highway speeds. Even wear, no cupping.

Toyo MT or Trail Grapplers. The best all around mud tire on the market IMO. You can't go wrong with either

I'm partial to the Duratracs. Look aggressive and are very quiet on the road and last a long time. I've had the KM2's and they are quiet for a MT, but I didn't like the low speed rumble through the steering wheel.

In the same boat here...top 2 options for me are DuraTrac (smarter for 90 mi round trip commute) and Trail Grappler (more fun when not commuting)

I run 315/70R17 Goodyear Duratrac's and love them! Great on and off road, and great treadlife!
