Default Need help adjusting my caster

I'm on the home stretch of my lift install and need a little help. I've read a lot on how to adjust caster and have a pretty good idea on how to do it. The problem is the starting lengths for the front control arms set the caster right around 6 degrees. This don't work for me as I'm going to be running a JE reel 1310 front drive shaft. I'm looking to get back to stock. Adjusting just the uppers requires me to lengthen them by about an inch. This puts them approximately 7 full turns from coming off the arm and makes me nervous as I don't think they will be threaded in far enough. In the directions it says the lower arm length is critical but I feel I'm going to need to shorten them a bit to split the difference. What would be a good measurement to shorten them by? I was going to start with a 1/4" and see where that gets me. If there is anyone local to the high desert or surrounding areas that is familiar with adjusting caster and would want to come lend a hand I have a fridge full of beer I'm offering as payment...haha. txt or call me if u can be of assistance 760-486-6669. Thanks!
