I know the confusion and doubt when looking at stuff like this. I read reviews for several weeks before making a decision on what to get. I ended up with a flashpaq tuner from Superchips, through northridge 4x4, $308 shipped.

Still being a bit skeptical, I followed all instructions, went through the update process, had no issues at all. Uploaded to the JK, and immediately fell in love with the difference. It makes a world of difference to the jeep.

All the flat spots and lag have gone, and it restores a more normal driving feeling like the jeep shoulda had from the factory. The throttle response is excellent, and the engine breathes now at higher rpms. The lower, normal driving torque and power really can be felt now. I am very pleased with the easse of use and the gains I am feeling.

I did not mess around with any other tunes but the 93 performance. I wanted to get straight into the engine putting out as much as it possibly could.

I drive a JK, and as such, not too terribly bothered about any loss in mpg. If I wanted mpg, I might would be driving a faggy prius.
