Default Need help on choosing tires!

Hey guys, I've decided on a 16" wheel and am looking for either 35's or 37's for a 16" wheel. I really like the BF Goodrich all terrains and I also like the goodyear duratracs. It seems really hard to find these.. What sizes should i be looking at? I've been mainly looking at 305/75/16 but could not find very many tire options.. Would 37's be any easier? Any help is much aprieciated!

Not specific to the two tire brands you mentioned, but below are some equivalents to a 35"-34" tire...

315/75/16

35x12.5x16

16" tire choices are some times hard to come by. Are you really set on 16s? If not you have more tire selection and sizes going 17s...Best of luck....

315/70/17 GY Duratrac's here. They measure a little over 34" mounted. Love em. Would definitely recommend them. They have been fantastic in the powder and hard packed snow on and off road but probably not an issue in Florida! They are an aggressive looking tire but extremely quiet and handle great on highway. They are probably the lightest tire in this range as well. Weighed 60lbs each.

The 16" Duratrac I believe is an "E" rated load range where as the 17" is a "D". The 16" will ride rougher then the 17

Go 15" it will save you even more. Just do your research on which 15's fit a jk. Discount tire direct has a list. 35" km2s were only $240 a piece

i love my toyo's. If they last more then 40k miles, i will never buy another tire.

I have Toyo open country M/T
size is 285/75r16
They are 10 ply which makes them heavy but its unsprung weight.

Just be sure that the particular 15" wheel you want will clear the JK brake calipers. Discount tire direct was very helpful there. But yeah it's all personal preference for the looks too. Personally I love the look of a big tire on 15" wheels, makes the tire look bigger. And i think 18" wheels make 35'a look like 33's. but that's just me
