Sweet! Keep us posted with your alignment results I'm curious to see how your caster measurement will compare to the shops measurements

Not to hi-jack the post, but I'm thinking of the 4" Superlift and want to get at least front lower arms to go with everything.

do the Currie arms work with pretty much any 4" lift?

Yes the advantage is that they have a Jonny Joint on both ends of the arms which adds to the articulation.

Wow, readings are better than I thought. both right and left are at 2.5 degrees and toe is 1/16".

I will turn the front uppers two turns inward to improve the caster until the alignment shop can do the work. They gave me the measurements and told me to come back next week.

Question for all on pinion angles. Where do you put the angle finder to determine the angle. I know it will be off but I get different readings depending on where I put the angle finder.

Overall, even with this mis aligned setup it rides real nice compared to stock.

Park your Jeep JK Wrangler on a level surface (or as level as possible). Then, place an angle finder on the flat base of your front axle C as shown in this pic, determine what your Jeep JK Wrangler’s caster angle is and then make a note of it. You should also place your angle finder on the ground as well and make a note of it’s angle if there is any as it will need to be taken into account when setting your caster.

Robar that is the location for caster. The pinion angle location is what I was looking for more info. I can see multiple possible locations I'm just not sure what is correct.

Thanks Piginajeep, that is the missing link for me. I'll get er dun tonight. I believe I'm pretty close in the rear already. I used the bottom of the diff on the straight edge on picture 1 and it was 6 degrees and the shaft was 7 as you measured it. pretty darn close in my mind and I don't think 1 degree will be an issue. I'll check the front when I check the front caster and make sure the rear is still the same.

I got my answer how to do the caster on another forum by just using the location where robar mentioned and knowing the computer says 2.5 just make sure I get a reading and add 2-2.5 degrees adjusting in the upper arms inwards.

You need to get that rear close. Just make sure your coils are not going to hit the track bar. Its really tight.

I have my rear within 1/2 degree and its fine. I had it a little over and was getting vibs.
