It could be the machining of the flange itself. I got one from them that would barely start on the pinion shaft. Jim sent me another (three weeks later) after telling me he'd never heard of such a thing before. I'd be concerned going over 130 ft lbs on that nut.

Jim said that they have gone way over the 130, using a long ass breaker bar and a 3/4" impact gun. I'm at like 160, give or take on the nut now.
