Default Need help identifying ODBII device

hey, all, new member here wondering if anyone recognizes this ODBII device or the logo? i picked up a used 2018 Rubicon JKU on 37s and noticed this device was plugged in. my speedo is accurate so i'm assuming this may have something to do with it but have no clue.

thanks in advance!

It's probably the Amazon special that someone was able to use the Jscan app on your vehicle to set it up correctly.

thanks for the input. if it helps, it's also wired to somewhere else although i haven't traced the wires yet to see where they go. thought a Google image search would solve it but not finding anything at all.

Y, that looks like some generic Chinese thing. These dongles are pretty cheap, and the apps are usually compatible with various dongles. TBH, if you decide to use Jscan or another app, I'd buy a new dongle. Only ~$13 or so.

figured it out with the help of a co-worker ... the company is called Che Ding Dong, looks like they make automotive cameras and HUD devices. interesting ... i'll have to try to install their app and see what happens.

Looks like it is part of a dash cam setup that the original owner left in the vehicle. The cameras on the site say "obd2" detection.
