Need help with lift
I’m new to the JK world. I have a built WJ (6.5” IRO longarm on 35’s) but know nothing about JK’s. I’m looking to lift it 2.5-3”. A few questions I have.
- What is a quality lift for the JK around $1000?
-Do I need to replace either driveshaft at this height?
-Do I need adjustable CA?
-At 2.5” will I need an adjustable track bar front or rear?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Tire size and what you plan to do with the jeep will be important in planning. The 2007-2011 JK is pretty gear sensitive so keep that in mind. The 2012-2018 is better but depending on tire size you should have gears in your mind. Depending on your year and your set up you may need a driveshaft, exhaust spacer, or both. Adjustable links are nice to dial things in, if you go over 2" of lift things start to get out of spec in the suspension and steering. At 2.5" of lift I would recommend both front and rear adjustable track bars and a raised rear bracket to increase your roll center. I have a 3" EVO Enforcer lift that is in great shape and was only used about a year if you want a good quietly kit for cheap. I can even help with the install if you wanted to make the trek to Reno.
