Default Need help with new suspension

iT SEEMS LIKE EVERYONE CAN'T WAIT TO GO TO 35'S, SO I HAVE TABLED 33'S AND WILL GO WITH 35'S. I WANT TO USE A 2.5 TERAFLEX COIL LIFT. IF I NEED MORE ROOM, DO I GO WITH SPACERS OR A BODY LIFT? I REALLY DON'T WANT TO MESS WITH DRIVE SHAFTS ETC. I AM NEW TO THIS AND HAVE A 2010 UNLIMITED AUTO, 373, WITH 350 MILES. I WILL RE-GEAR TO 5.13 AT SOME TIME AND UPGRADE PERFORMANCE WITH A SUPERCHIP OR HYPERTECH.. WHICH ONE DO YOU LIKE?

THANKS FOR YOUR SUGGESTIONS. I HAVE BEEN BEATING MY HEAD AGAINST THE HOOD TO FIGURE OUT WJHAT LIFT AND WITH WHAT TIRES, ETC.

I plan on installing 35's as well and recently put a Teraflex 3" Flexarm kit on my JK. I'm really pleased with it so far. Based upon the recommendations of lots of the folks on here, 3" seemed to be the general consensus if you were going with 35's. With the 3.73's you are going to want to regear, but it seems as if you were already heading in that direction. I'm in the same boat with tires. I'm trying to find something that will not only crawl well but not slip to bad on the ice.

WHY ARE YOU YELLING?!!

Sorry, I coudn't resist.

You shouldn't need any more lift than that for 35s. You will actually get 3" or more lift with the Teraflex kit. If you do end up needing more lift, a body lift would be the safer option as far as driveline is concerned.

DO A QUICK SEARCH ON THE TF2.5 COIL LIFT!!!! YOU'LL FIND A TON OF THREADS WITH PLENTY OF INFO AND OPINIONS!!!! AS MENTIONED ABOVE, THIS LIFT SHOULD BE PLENTY FOR 35'S!!!! IF YOU WANT A LITTLE MORE ROOM, JUST CHOP THE FENDERS!!! ALSO NOTE THAT MANY PEOPLE ARE IN FACT HAVING DRIVESHAFT ISSUES WITH THIS LIFT HEIGHT!!!

Alright, enough with the caps, making my eyes hurt. Open the Faq's and browse through the suspension and drivetrain areas again. Note the components that are recommended for a 3" lift, find out what they all do, and decide which you need/want/can live without. Definitely re-read the part on caster.

X2.

If you can't decide on a lift the TF 2.5 coil is a very good choice. It will provide a bit more lift than the nominal 2.5" but it will limit the requirements for other mods such as new driveshafts. I have never read a negative comment about this lift. The only complaint is from owners that decided they want more lift.

It provides plenty of lift for 35" tires.

The TF will be a bit higher than 2.5". Probably 3".
At 3", it is recommended to have adj. front CA to have a better caster
Many DW issues because the Jeepers don't check the caster

Sorrry about the yelling. Thanks you for the info. Sounds like a 2.5 TF and a 1" body lift if needed.
