install took me about twenty minutes, and i'm an idiot when it comes to mechanical installations.

It is a waste of your money and actually it increases your water intake with it sitting out like it does. I found no advantage whatsoever, only louder noise.

From everything I have read b4, I came to the conclusion to just pickup a drop-in style K&N filter for $45 at the local auto parts store. CAI's seem to be a waste of money, however with the $45 I spent on my drop-in filter, I did notice a little better performance and I picked up .5 mpg. Just my

I like mine in combination with a programmer. It defiantely perks up at higher RPM. Cruising at 2000 RPM, it does nothing. It sounds nice, can have a whistle, but I think it has some benefit. I ahve a Bnaks and it is mostly enclosed/protected. I woudl buy it again, but that is me. Regearing is defiantely the way to go for more power, but $1000 can be tough to coem by some times.

I just recently installed the aem brute force and IMO I think it was worth the money. It sounds beasty when you want it to and throttle response has definitely improved. I also saw an increase in mpg by .2 and with my meats I could use the little extra benefits for the price of a few bills.

x2... sounds great... better throttle response above 2300 rpms... MPGs... let's just say I'm not getting the best to begin with!

x3 but mine is Airaid. Only thing about them is that while the filters are supposed to last 'the lifetime of the vehicle', they really don't if you wheel a bunch or live somewhere really dusty. In fact, I would say that every CAI filter has some sort of life-limit on it depending on the conditions it is exposed to. So invest in a precharger filter and tr to clean both often. There is a definite increase in performance and peppiness though, I would say it's worth the money. Sounds great too!
