Need help, Suspension?
I am going nuts with all the suspension lifts out there...
I have done searches on the forum and still not close to making a decision.
TeraFlex JK 4" Suspension System w/Lower FlexArms with list price of $1,524.99
What is better with similar price tag or comparable with a smaller price tag?
I want to put some 37"....
Thanks in advance for your time and attention....

Do you have a 2 dr or a 4 dr?
Do you need maximum articulation, or is on road ride more important?
Do you do slow and or flat terrain, or fast or undulating terrain, etc?
Would you add a 1" BL to preserve uptravel?

I have 4 dr and want to be able to ride some on the street and some off-road. I do both slow - flat terrain and fast - ondulating terrain.
I understand that I need to sacrifice some for others, but the main goal here is to be good on the street, good offroad and a passing grade rock crawling.
Thanks for the reply.

If you want to be good on the rocks, I'd add a 1"BL then to preserve uptravel/maintain stability...otherwise, they stick on those bumpstop extensions [shudder] 37's NEED that extra room.
I'd think about different shocks too...for the fast undulating terrain, the twin tube shocks fade out, monotubes would be the way to go.
Hope that helps.

I went with the 3" full traction economy lift. Although I love the lift and ease of installation I wish I had gone with the ultimate lift.
I say this because once you lift the jk 3 or more inches you need to be able to adjust the different parts like the upper and lower control arms, the track bar, etc. See project-jk for the write-ups!
I already had to go out and buy adjustable upper control arms to help the ESP. I also noticed that the rear track bar it is hitting the shock - since it is not adjustable and the kit came with a drop down bracket to work with factory bar.
It's only money
!

I went through the same thing. I decided to go one step at a time and bought everything seperately.
I installed 3 inch Black Diamond springs which gave me a full 4 inches of lift. I got Rancho 5000 shocks for a 4 inchl lift, sway bar disconnects (not necessary if offroading is mild) and a track bar adjuster for the rear. I had to lower the brake line brackets.
I have about $500 in it, and do hard core offroading on the black diamond runs all around southern California ( Big Bear, Calico, John Bull, Holcomb Creek, etc) with not problems at all. Ride is perfect and have over 10k miles on this lift and no problems with alignment or anything. I had to adjust the steering wheel back to center is all.
Simple install and cheap. I am very happy.
