Well folks, my tires are on their way out and I'm ordering wheels and tires this week. Getting a sweet deal on some falken wild peaks size 37x13.50R18 and getting new wheels also, but I'm stuck on two options for wheels. One wheel it seems has the perfect backspacing and one wheel is at the limits of reasonable backspacing. First wheel I'm looking at is the kmc xd strike in size 18x10 with 4.56" backspacing Click image for larger version

ID:	529954 What do you think about the backspacing for the size tire I'm going run? I'm really liking the rugged ridge more, because I can change the look of the wheels by adding the "rim protector" rings, and paint them any way I want, and also the wheels are jk specific and hub centric. My only worry is rubbing issues with 13.50 wide tires, should a be worried? Please any advice on the wheels would be appreciated, no flaming me because I'm still running my d30 with these tires, I know issues and precautions, I'm gonna take care of it also If the deal works out I'm gonna have new wheels and tires shipped between 1600-1800

I like the looks of the XDs and they have better backspacing. Though, if you're going to run that wide of a tire you should be looking at doing 3.5" of BS.

x2.

I am running the 16" version of those tires (a bit shorter and an inch narrower than the 18" set you are looking at) on 4.5" BS rims, and rubbed onroad any time the suspension compressed while turning. Added 1.5" spidertrax for an effective 3.0" bs.

I don't think either of those options will work without spacers.

From the looks of this maybe I should go with rugged ridge wheels and spidertrax spacers to get a better backspace?

Looks like discount can't get me the rugged ridge wheels, should I stick with my initial choice of kmc xd wheels? Or kmc wheels with 5" backspacing plus 1.5 spidertrax spacers to bring backspacing to 3.5"?

Well looks like spacers are inevitable. I'm considering the kmc xd enduro instead at 5" backspacing and adding a 1.5" spacer to bring backspacing to 3.5"

What do you all think? 1625 shipped all four wheels and tires, mounted and balanced with lugnuts?

Doesn't seen to bad of a price for 37s and new 18" wheels.

I like the look of these wheels better than the other ones you posted.

How much are you paying per wheel and tire?
