I agree - I don't think that the paint would hold up particularly well. As far as how it would look, I think you can get away with a lot when you have a silver vehicle... it might look nice, but it already looks nice as-is.

I think he's made up his mind. Good work everyone.

But just in case you're still fence-sitting, chalk one more up for the "Don't do it" tally. It might look okay at first, but I wouldn't want to risk having the paint flake off.

thanx again for all the help guys i appricate it. i ask my girlfriend her opinion all the time and she looks at me like. "i don't give a shit about cars".....she is always impressed with what i do with the jeep but when it comes to stuff like that she would rather tell me to clean the bedroom instead of working on the jeep

If you want to paint something, go for the hard top. For what ever reason, I love silver Saharas + painted tops.

Nice rig regardless...

Nah, leave them black. For looks, a little black will tie in the black top nicer.

I also have to say stay with black. The sahara already has lots of silver paint to match. I think more is overkill.
