Default Need Ideas on yah or nay

I am going for the recessed tail ight idea to get them as to not stick out too far.
BTW these are stock TJ/YJ tail lights.
After getting them mounted properly, take and make filler panels between the light housing and the AEV corner guard.

Orginal rear hole size

Reworked hole size

Light housing

Light from 3 differant positions.

So far i have been able to put my stock lights back into place.

Correct me if I'm wrong, and I have not taken the light out so I don't know. I think you have it upside down.....should not the smaller light be your reverse light?

Realized that afterwords. little booboo. And actually some to the Jeep guys who run these have them unside down like that to have more light @ night, too......

I like it. I'm curious to see what it looks like when you're done. I actually like the lights better upside down too

Last week I ripped the light off my 12' trailer with my leg. Being that it is pretty much the same light I think you have the right idea to prevent future problems
