Default Need immediate help

Guys I really need your help......I just bought a new jk with a 4:10 and am trying to decide between the skyjacker 2.5" BB on 33s or a 4" superlift on 35s. I used to have a TJ with a 3" teraflex on 33s and loved the performance, flex, look, and the fact that I could do 75 on the freeway still. I am looking for the same thing out of the jk after the lift. The jeep will be a 80% DD and a 20% OR with alot of mountain driving. Which one should I do? Any info will help as I am getting it lifted on monday!!!

Did you mean mountain/rock off roading or that much of you daily driving is in the mountains? Those 35s will be kind of a dog for mountain on road driving. Unless you are eventually planning a regear at some point down the road. As cheap as the BB is you could always do the BB now and ride it for a while then move up if you get tired of it. There will always be someone who will want to buy the 33s off you.

Well, first of all, you only need a 3" lift to fit 35s, and a 1-2" lift to fit 33s. Not to say you have to stick to that, but just thought I'd throw that out.

I DD my JK on a 3" lift and 35" tires, no problems. I have to downshift to maintain speed on some inclines, but otherwise it's not a problem.

No offense, but it sounds like someone has sold you on Skyjacker a little heavily. You might want to postpone your lift and do some looking around first! Meet up with some other JK jeepers, get some opinions, maybe even find someone to let you drive theirs. Patience

I second this. Try to be patient. Do it right the first time. This stuff is costly.

Agree.... look at other lift options. I know the superlift is a little cheaper than other but.... you get what you pay for most of the time.

I was told by dealer a 3" lift is as high as U can go and not null out the warenty.
I run a tera flex 3" lift and 35" x 12.5" wide pro-comps on factory 16" rims using 1" spacers.
I needed to add adjustable track bar to front and adjustable lower controll arms to front to get proper castor and camber and get the beast back to driving like a car and not a giant SPERM wiggling down the road.
I looked in detail at every lift out there before deciding on the tera flex. I'm glad I did! Be CAREFULL!
