Default Need more POWER

I think everyone wants this, and I need some ideas for how to get it.

I am saving for a V8, but I need some more power in the mean time. I have the Flashpaq, MBRP exhaust and 5:38 gears but its just not enough. After 70 mph, there is no passing gear, or kick down to pass cars. The extra weight for aftermarket is not helping either.

Dont want to get a blower, that would take to much money from the V8 plan. Am I stuck with the boat anchor until the V8?

Not being a wise a$$, but....

It looks like you have put some money into off road capability.
So, why do you need your rig to pass cars above 70?

5:13's and a Superchips Tuner would work wonders.

If im not mistaken, you have plenty enough power with your gears, and the SF. How much more power do you need and why? I have 4:10 with 35's and I can pass cars on the highway going 75+ no problem. Not that I need to even go that fast.

A V8 is going to give you more power but its not going to give you much more speed, just low end power till you hit about 65 is when your going to feel the most power.

I mean IMO, you have plenty of power with the gears you have and what not.

If thats not enough already, trade it in and get an STI

They're not made to go fast, they're made to go anywhere. If you don't already have one, get a Superchips Flashpaq. Money well spent, if you ask me. After I went up in tire size, the Jeep was a sled. I got the tuner and it has made a noticeable difference. It was quick, easy, and affordable.

For now, why don't you keep it at 70 and under and LIVE........you'll have plenty enough time to kill yourself after you get the V8.....
