Default Need opinions before I make a move!!

After days of deliberating and I don't know how many websites, I am most likely gonna go with Pro Comp Rock Crawlers Series 98 17x8's with Toyo Open Country M/T 35x12.50x17. I have read that 17x8 will hold the tire better and less likely to lose the bead than 17x9's. So, I want to make sure I have my wheels/tires matching correctly. It's a daily driver with plans to hit trails such as Signal Peak, Rubicon ( oh yeah...we'll be taking the bypasses), etc. Would love some feedback, particularly about the tire/wheel match.

It will be fine. I run 35x12.50's on 7.5" rims and they are fine. 8" will work great

Trauma, those come with a 4.25" bs...sorry...should have mentioned that. That was my primary reason for choosing those wheels.

Like Ryan said, they'll be fine as long as you don't mind the wheels sticking past the fenders a bit. I also went with 35x12.50r17 but on 17x9 with 4.5" backspacing.

I wanted to go with Level 8 Trackers, which were 17x8.5 and 4.5" backspacing, but they were sold out along with every other similarly styled wheels at DT. I ended up going with Level 8 ZXs. Learned after they could order Pro Comp wheels, but I glad I went with ZXs since it's different than the Trackers/Mickey Thompson Classic/etc style which seems to be a favorite on here.

Feel reassured. Thanks for the responses. Going forward with it. I'll post pics when I'm there!
