Need some FACTS
Been looking and looking at thread after thread trying to find out if I can run 37" tires on a 2 door JK with a 2.5" Lift on all stock axles and shafts. I drive 98% of the time on well maintained roads and 1.9% of the rest is pasture driving. I want to know if anyone out there has tried this setup and if they have, how'd it work out? I'd be lying if I said I wanted the 37"s for anything other than a badass look.
If the 2.5 lift didn't work weel what's the minimum lift? I really like the full fenders look so the lower I can keep it the better. (Not to mention the $$$
)

FACT - ask 10 different people and you are going to get about 17 different answers.
Start by finding any posts by Planman. At the bottom you should find a link to his big thread about how to run 37's on a short lift.

Flat fenders, 2.5" bumpstops and you can run 37's with 2.5" lift all day long. Just you wont be able to run long shocks to maximize flex, but you can run the standard shock extensions so you don't droop too far which is what will chew up your DS boots.

this is 2.5" teraflex coils and shocks and flat fenders. The rear shock mounts have been raised so it has a little more droop than the setup lifted above will have.

Actually Washington was the first President under the US Constitution, ratified on June 21, 1788. Prior to US Constitution the US was under the Articles of Confederation. Under the Articles of Confederation, there were Presidents of the Continental Congress, sometimes referred to as President of the United States in Congress Assembled. Starting with Peyton Randolph who was elected President of the Continental Congress on 9/5/1774, there were a total of 14 men who were elected to this position, with Randolph and John Han**** serving 2 separate terms.
I have been waiting years to use this absolutely useless fact.

Since you say you like the "full fenders" look, I am wondering if that means you don't want to trim your stock fenders, or change to flat fenders. If that is the case, this is what a 2 1/2" lift and full fenders looks like with 37s.

Keep in mind that the rear fender opening on a two door JK is a little different than on a four door JK. Both will need the pinch seam trimmed, but the four door has a little more room in the shape of the body tub itself, at the front of the rear fender opening. I would follow Planman's advise for fitting big tires on a two door.

How do you like the Falkens? And how much backspacing are you running?
