Was cleaning the engine bay and ran across this wire/cable. It's nothing I've seen before and could use some help as to where it goes. Thank in advance...

Looks like a grounding strap, possibly the one that goes from the hood to the body tub

Where is the other end attached??
The loose end goes either to a metallic body part or possibly a grounding block.
Need to know where the other end is attached and also just see how far the loose end goes and check for a grounding lug/nut.
