Default In NEED of some help with lifting!!!

Hey guys so a pretty simple question. I'm going to order the teraflex 2.5 in lift with shocks. I want to know what ELSE i NEED or need to do in order to make it work? I don't go off roading, just some light mud when I go hntng and want an aggressive look. I have 33'' bfg goodrich tires already. Let me know everyhing please! like drop pittman arm? anything? I hope nothing other than that. LIke i said i don't need flex, i drive on road and through mud puddles basically. Thanks alot!

Oh hey also, I know teraflex makes a leveling kit, would that work with my 2.5'' lift kit or not?

everything you will need comes with the kit, is it the coil kit or budget boost? if its the coils it will level it out for you

You don't 'need' anything else to make it work.

It comes with rear links, move the stock rears up front. Comes with a rear trackbar bracket to center the rear axle. (if you want to center the front, add another bracket or adjustable) Comes with rear brake line brackets. Shouldn't need them up front. Comes with bumpstops, which you probably won't need anyway, if you don't wheel it.
The only thing you 'may' want to look into is some way to adjust your caster up front IF it is too flighty after the lift. (shouldn't be an issue, but keep it in mind.

Also, Spacer or Coil?

From the description on the 2.5 coil kit...
3" lift in the front and 2" lift in the rear to give your Wrangler a more attractive stance.
That should take care of the forward rake.

As nthinf says, if you have the budget you may want to go ahead and get adjustable lower control arms to adjust the caster. Sooner or later you end up needing them particularly if you add spacers to the springs to account for a spring sag due to an aftermarket bumper and winch.

Right now driving a stock 08 Rubicon. I have been thinking of the full banana OME 2" kit from Northridge 4X4 but the price on this Tereflex is tempting. Admittedly the OME kit comes with more stuff but how much of it is really needed when going ~2.5". The only additional upgrades over the long run seem to be adjustable front lower control arms and an adjustable front track bar. The Tereflex is also less than 1/2 the price of the OME everything included kit.

Anybody have opinions on either or??? I do wheel over some pretty sizable rocks twice a week or better exploring desert canyons and am dragging along the way so I do need the lift with full articulation.

I have had the 2.5" coil lift with shocks for 6 months now and I love it. I did not put anything else on other than what came with the kit. I also have 33's and have mostly had it as a daily driver, but have taken off road quite a bit on some challenging trails. The lift worked great and provided plenty of clearance. In my opinion, you do not need anything other than what comes with the kit.

I've had my Tera-Flex 2.5 BB with shock extensions lift, longer than my Jeep!

I put it on the first week I had my Jeep, so far have ran 32,000 miles on it, and it's big enough for 35's!

I LOVE IT!

It rides like stock with my stock Rubi shocks on it, just more room under it. Seemed way to much money for me to go to a 3 inch. I'll do that when my springs wear out at 100,000 miles.

Check it out:

Very nice looking jeep, that is the exact stance that I want for mine. Thanks for posting that pic!
