Default Need some serious gear help and some other things

I have a 2008 JK unlimited, Power programmer, air intake, throttle body spacer, banks header and full exhaust and running 35's. Its the 3.8 with Auto Trans. This Jeep is my everyday driver.

Questions:
1. Should I get gears? Also what ratio? 4:88 5:13 ?? I am getting mixed review on one of the other threads.

Depending on which gear is reccomended what should I be taching at 70 MPH ? All info is apreciated. Also do I need to do front and rear? I think my answer is yes?

What is the labor costs you are seeing?

2. The only real thing I hate about my jeep is that the dam traction control comes on when Im going around sharp corners. I looked on here before and it had a specific order of directions to follow to turn it off; like turn the wheel to 1:00 turn key on turn to 3:00 etc..... Well Im a fairly sharp guy and it doesnt work. Tried it twenty times and nothing. Anyone know why its not working?

Thanks much appreciated.

Open the FAQ's, very first thread in this section.

Lots of info in the Drivetrain area, with a great RPM chart...

You're looking in the $1000 to $1500 range for parts/labor/out the door, depending on area. Your best bet would be to ask in the Staging Area for your neck of the woods, or just call around to the local shops, or ask any local 4x4 clubs.
