Default Need tips for painting coils

I am planning on purchasing the terraflex leveling springs which are black in color. I would like to paint them red. Did anyone do this before? My questions are:
1. Any special paint recommended, one that will not fail under the spring flexing.
2. Any special methods used to make sure that I get paint coverage inside.
3. Any brand of paint used.

thanks in advance.

I have done it with the Mopar 2" Kit ...... Normal paint by the Jeep Dealer from where I got them ..... of course I had to buy a special paint for coloring the brakes

Take care,

Try POR-15. It's supposed to be super strong and flexible. It's a little pricey but it seems worth it. And it's cheaper than powder coating.

I was going to suggest Powder Coating. Gather all the parts together & I'll bet they would give you a good price. Not to mention how sharp it would turn out.!

I have no tips on spray painting them other than go for it...

But if you decide to have them powdercoated, I suggest you request your powdercoater to not sandblast/bead blast them. Just have them clean and spray right on top of the current coating (assuming they are already powdercoated)
