Default need tow hook instructions!

does anyone have the instructions sheet for installing the Mopar tow hooks?

erm... you mean the front ones? or the rear? either one is almost as simple as eating cake.

for the front, just take the plastic part of the bumper off, remove the 4 bolts on one side, remove the spacer pieces on the front (if there are any) place tow hook in place. the 4 bolts on it should match up and then tighten those down with the spacers on the backside. now do the other side. before putting the plastic cover back on, cut the holes out in the top where there are these two "dimples". put the plastic cover back, tighten it all up and your done.


the rear is just 6 bolts (i think, maybe 8) and there are pre drilled holes for it in the crossemember. just put it up there and bolt it in.


i think i have some pictures laying around if you need them, for the front atleast.

Check this thread for the fronts: Mopar front tow hook installation notes


oh, and the rear J-hook has 3 bolts. (4 for the hitch)

yeah... that works as well.

and i thought there was more to the rear tow hook. only 3 bolts? sheesh...

sorry! I ment the front! yeah, i saw that thread, thanks.

or the rear, i used a receiver mounted hook. I also have a D-ring that i can put in it instead if i want to. Just waiting for UtahGoose to get his new bumper in this week to get his hooks.
