oh, as was mentioned above i also have my CB wire running thru there, there is lots of room if you split the grommet. It has some length to it so there is lots of room to get a small ziptie around it to keep it in shape (if it is even needed, i just did it because i had zipties in my wiring kit)

My power does go to my swingaway. I just made the wires into a twist and loomed them, then left a loop long enough to fit. I have planned on making it more permanent somehow, but just havent gotten to it.

I will likely go out from the passenger tailight thru the sheetmetal with a new grommet and just be sure to get the fresh metal primed & painted, or if i can just loop it underneath an back up between the bumper and body. One of the things i just never seem to get around to doing.
