I need some feedback on rear bumpers with tire carrier. I like the Rancho bumper because it will allow me to carry the high lift jack laying along the length of the bumper instead of standing up ,But I don't like the fact the bumper itself has no corners . I don't want the jack mounted inside because I have a 2 door and I need the room. What ideas have you guys got ?

I have just added 285/75/17 bfg km2 on ballistic wheels -12 offset , I don't want to over weight the tail gate. I can go $900.00 maybe $1000.00. Thanks in advanced for your help.

 

Good luck on the bumper choice, but you shouldn't be worried about the tailgate because there are tons of guys with 35's mounted to the tailgate.

 

you should be just fine running your 285 (33") spare on the tailgate and without any problems. as mentioned, there are a lot of guys running 315's (35") without too much trouble.
