Default Needing to add front spacers also...

Hey gang,

I have a RC 2.5" kit installed and love it. The problem I am having however is that my JK previously only had a 1.75" front spacer installed and it sat level. Now its back to stock rake pretty much... well maybe a little better then stock, but you see what I mean.

I need to bring the front up about another inch to get it to sit level again. I still have the 1.75" uretheyne spacer. I was gonna trim off .75" and go with a 1" spacer. Anyone see a problem with runnin' 3.5" up front (2.5" + 1") and a 2" in the back?

Thanks in advance everyone!

I suppose people are wondering what a 3.5" Front lift will do to your drive line and alignment angles, etc....as you did not get a 3.5" lift kit...to compensate.

You could just buy a 1 " spacer from northridge4X4. Teraflex makes one.

I would be a little concerned having 3.5 inches of spacer up front. Your Jeep may feel a little squirrelly.

I have 1" spacers on the back and I can tell that the Jeep drives with more side to side movement.

Just curious, What are the measurements to the ground on the front of the rock rail to the floor and the back of the rock rail to the floor.

I am contemplating adding a 1 inch spacer to the front of mine. Currently the front of my rock rail is 3/4" closer to the ground the way it sits.

I'm just wondering if the extra .25" of an inch is gonna pose a problem. People are running the 2.5" and a .75" spacer on top of that... so would the .25 of an inch be an issue...Thanks.

I have a 3.5" lift and the proper way to run would be to make sure your pinion angle is right, front and back. You don't have adjustable upper control arms, so the pinion angle is not adjustable on your set up. You also don't have an adjustable front and rear track bars. Your jeep may sit off set to the passenger side.

Yeah...I was thinkin' I would have to get new UCA/LCA and trackbar brackets... however, I really don't care too much if its off center a little... People say its that way with the 2.5" kit anyway...but honestly, I don't see it. Thks.

The best thing to do is buy longer front springs. I'm having the same problem.
