Default New 3" Lift and 35s

I have had my new JK sahara Unlimited for about a month and have been researching which lift to get. It is my everyday driver and most of the time will stay on road. I do want the ability for off road use and want a more aggressive look to my jeep. I am ordering 35” tires and still deciding which lift. I have been recommended to get a 2” spacer because the majority of use will be one the highway or normal conditions.

I don’t mind spending more money on a complete lift.. coils and shocks, if the road driving quality is still good. I rather have a good overall jeep than force 35” tires with a 2’ budget lift.

I have seen some people with 3” full traction lift. I like the look of the clearance gained, although I am wondering the difference in driving performance and responsiveness.

I appreciate any help in deciding which way to go… this is my first jeep.

Some of the questions I am concerned with:
How is normal driving effected by a 3 or 2 inch lift
How is the max speed on the highway with a 3” lift
Out of the 3” lifts available from full traction, what is the difference between the economy, premium and ultimate kits.

Any other points, concerns or suggestions I greatly appreciate.
Thanks for your help!

I'll do my best here..

economy is a spacer lift, using stock parts.
Premium is a complete lift, with fixed control arms, no adjustments, everythings set.
Ulitimate kit, which is what I have, comes with adjustable control arms.

Premium is a really good kit, I would also suggest going with M-force shocks., It was a night and day difference. between them and the monotube shocks.

I'm running procomp extreme MT's. The lifts smoother than stock. The tires are louder than my stock of course, but the ride quality is awesome.

Remember your going to lose speed as well, You might wanna consider regearing when funds become available.

highway speed, it feels very safe and stable at any speed on the highway. I've had it way over the speed limit and it does very well.

Actually, the 3" economy, which i think he was referring too, is not spacers, it is a economy spring lift.

Thanks for your help Piginajeep. The premium sounds like it would be a good choice for me. I got the tow group so i have the 4.10 gears. will that help?
Did your speedometer need to be adjusted at all with 35s?
Is it the max speed that is the main issue or is acceleration effected as well?
Not that its a big deal... i'm happy going the speed limit with a more aggresive jeep!
