Has anyone installed the new AEV Roof rack I'd love to see some pic's and was the install hard and if you could show some inside pic's of the mounts that would be nice. I like the fact that it mounts to the inside bars you have to drill holes but if it is done right it should be Fine.Thanks

Bump, The new AEV Roof Rack?

 

So, it looks like you can order one on Quadratec, (AEV Conversions 10307010AA - AEV Roof Rack for 07-12 Jeep® Wrangler Unlimited JK 4 Door - Quadratec), but from what I have heard, they are not shipping them yet? I just spoke to a rep and he said it will be atleast 2 weeks before they have any available. I really want one of these, but need to see more pictures before I buck up $1000. Is it weird that AEV's website has hardly any information on it? If anybody can post more pics, please do so! Thanks,

 

I was wondering the same thing. I really want one, but I want to see some pictures and install instructions before I fork out that much cash.

 

reminds me of the front runner full roof, roof rack. Least with front runner you can get a half rack option so you can still remove your front freedom top panels

 

According to AEV Dave, the freedom panels are removable with the new AEV Rack. See link below...

they don't have the instructions yet either, but I saw:
1. Drilling is necessary.
2. Rivet Gun is necessary.
