New Ball Joints?
So I've searched the forum and it seems every thread mentions something about ball joints. I'm asking what the best idea would be for me to go when I replace the wife's in her JKUS. I plan to level it, and run 33" tires on stock rims. Jeep will be a beach toy and a DD, it may see the occasional mountain trial, and will go to Big Bend eventually. Should I do HD Terra Flex Bj's, OEM Bj's or another brand? I know there are probably posts about this exact question but i got too many results to sift through so I was hoping my fellow enthusiasts could give me some good info
Being in the same boat as most of the other jeepers here and if we have to replace the ball joints.. there is only one brand I would trust to do the job..
SYNERGY MANUFACTURING :: Jeep JK :: Synergy D30/D44/D50/D60 Heavy Duty Front Ball Joint Sets
However, I have heard through the grapevine, that teraflex maybe introducing a new ball joint very soon..

There are a few routes you can go but OEM is definitely not one of them! Dynatrac is the best and the most expensive. Best bang for the buck is probably Synergy or Alloy USA(although I have read a few bad reviews about the latter but not many). In the econo range would probaly be Crown first and OEM when you have no other choice.

Crowd pleaser.. well Jeep tried to get away from having greaseable components on their jeeps which was a big mistake.. Offering sealed components was a good idea but not practical for off roaders.. So if one has and keeps a daily driver.. the sealed Ball joints would be acceptable.. but off road and drive under extreme conditions.. best consider replacing a few components..
