I searched through the threads a while ago about a bench seat for the front, mostly for my two small dogs. I brought my Jeep to an upholsterer because I had an idea. I bought the material, he did the sewing and forming. He used a rigid foam. It just pops in and I can take it out when I need to. It cost me a half gallon of rum and a liter of come. Not too bad a deal in my opinion.
