Did you guys see in your new quadratec catalog? Its a hybrid between a soft top and hard top! I love this design, love the side windows! According to the quadratec YouTube video its still being worked on and will be available for preorder. But I think im Going to save up for one!

http://youtu.be/9PeaXaQE8_k What is everyone's opinion? After the top, and optional wiper mount assembly and everything, it'll be $2k. Worth it? To me it would be. Considering if I wanted to get a soft top and all the hardware it would be close to $1k or more (I forget exact price).

Pretty cool looking top! Appears to be a good combo between soft and hard . With the glass rear window not sure how quick on/off it will be.

pre orders at quadratec and others are running $1600. But not sure if you will need additional parts.

I would consider.

Where do you put the rear glass with impromptu "top down moments" away from the garage? I think it defeats a main purpose of having a rag top

If you ONLY run a soft top may be worth it. If you run both hard and soft, no way I'd pay that much. Where would you put those windows if you wanted to go topless when you're away from home? How long would it take to remove the top? In my opinion, the best soft top is an Offroad Heroes. Frameless, completely modular and easy to roll up and stow. Purely my opinion, to each his own.

Agree with this ^ Like the top, looks good and def love that companies keep trying to evolve....only problem I see, you basically have to commit before you leave your house what you are going to do....run the top up with the window...or possibly leave glass home and run it down.

no zippers is a homerun, but the glass back window is more trouble than it's worth

I run a soft top in the summer and my hardtop in the winter. I actually think I would sell my hardtop and run this in the winter. Looks like it will seal up just as good as a hardtop because of the glass and no zippers. I really like the look of the fastback. This seems way cheaper than the other options. I might have to see how much I can get for my Hard Top

I have never heard of these tops until just now. Their Multi Top looks awesome! I'm going to read more about these. There's always someone in my local Jeep clubs looking to buy a factory soft top. I could sell my 2 year old like-new soft top and only drop a few extra bones for this Multi Top. I'm going to read more into their tops, the quality, and customer satisfaction and do some heavy consideration.

Thanks for mentioning them!

I saw this at SEMA last november; from a distance I thought it looked way cool and thought when available it would replace my Trektop NX. Once I got closer and really checked it out though, I was less impressed. You do loose some of the at a whim soft top removal, and up close it just looked kinda clunky. You still have the wind noise of a soft top, the movement as well as the bulk of a hard top; you do get the more convenient hard rear window and rear sliders. Bestop makes a great product and I'm sure they'll sell well, but for me, I'm keeping my NX and if I decide I need something that seals up better I'll look into the Wild Boar hard top. Just my opinion.
