New Carrier for ReGear? i have a 2011 Sahara with 3.73s. i got my install quote today and they said i need a new rear carrier for my 4.88s. this true??? its b/c my dana 44 is a 3.92 down carrier. do i actually have an excuse to get a locker now!!?? i would love to save the carrier at moment, but i understand it will cost more in end to add a locker later on...

they quoted me with 5.13s b/c i was curious about going lower. seems some guys are saying to do 5.13s? anyways, with 5.13s , install kits , labour, and a new carrier(795.xx truetrac) was 2265.xx. btw this shop in unrivalled in the area i was told, they are the best gear guys hands down. so knowing that is great!

 

You will have to replace the carrier yes. They are correct in what they are saying.
