Default new driveshaft

So I bought a OEM front driveshaft and am swapping my torn boot one for the new, soooo am I right to torque 4 bolts on pumpkin end to 81 ft lbs and the 8 little bolts on transfer case end at 15 ft lbs??? Seems odd 80 lbs on one end and 15 on other...is that right? OHHH also do I use blue or red locktite...Thanks

Default Torque

I don't know about the torque spec's but if it is properly torqued blue loctite is more than enough.

According to my Mitchell, yes, those specs are correct. Front axle flange bolts are 81 ft lbs and transfer case flange bolts are 15 ft lbs

Edit: Don't use red locktite, that's overkill for those little bolts.

Either lock tight will work and I'm not sure about the ft lbs, but that is a good question...
