Default new exhaust

I just ordered the MBRP cat back in black. For some reason, I thought it was the 409 stainless, but its aluminizied stainless. Would it be better to send it back and get the bright, shiney 409 stainless system? Really want the black, but don't want to be replacing the exhaust system every few years.

You mean alumnized steel. There is a 3 year warranty on it. Just keep touching it up with black paint and you'll be good.

409 stainless still gets surface rust, but would still be better than the alumiumized. I went with the 409 and traded the stainless tip for the black tip. One thing I should mention is that I bought the street version. Not sure if that is an option with the off-road version.
I had the exhaust on for about 3 months and took it off in November, there was still enough surface rust on it even in that short period of time. Nothing a bit of elbow grease won't fix.
