The biggest mistake anyone could make is to install 4.88s or 4.56s in an automatic JK with 33" or larger tires. It is a complete waste of money.
Fuel economy will be less than with 5.13s or 5.38s with an automatic due to the more frequent downshifting of an automatic with 4.88s.
