Default New gears?

I am runningcurrently a 3.73 with the automotaic transmission.

As expected, since my lift and 34" tires went on, my power is significantly lower as is my fuel economy. I am wonderikng if I should up my gear ratios to a 4.27, 4.56 or 4.88.

I am not so technically inclined, so I am wondering what my best bet would be and if the gears would bring up my fuel economy at all. I am guessing that I would spend about $500 on the gearing and I drive 110 miles a day. If it will bring my MPG's up I can justify spending the money.

What are your thoughts? Thanks for the help!

at the moment, the only thing really available to you are 4.88's and they are what you should get anyway if you want to restore your power and preserve MPG.

Should I expect enough increase in fuel economy to warrant doing the mod?

not to muddy up the waters here, but I've been hearing that with the auto you would want the 5.13's.... NOT saying that's the be all end all, but on all the boards I've been on for the auto and 34-35's people are running them NOW if it's a stick then 4.88's are the way to go..
Reason being is the OD is WAY lower on the auto than the stick

I am open to suggestions here.

Is Northridge the best place to buy them?

If I was gonna go to all the trouble and expense, I'd go with 5.13s for a little more pep. Specially in a automatic.

34" tires with a 110 mile commute I would go with 4.88's.
