Default New gears installed - pointers/tips?

Hey everyone...

I recently had 5.13's installed and would like to know anything and everything about the "break in" period on them and what other things I should keep an eye on and/or be aware of. I know I have to drain after 500-1000 miles and replace the gear oil. I already did the "cool off" period and don't plan on towing or doing any highway driving until I hit the 500-1000 mile mark.

Anything else?

Those are pretty routine instructions, you'll be good. My installer said to keep it under 60 in addition to what your doing.

Yea, I read mixed reviews on that. Some took it easy, some mashed the gas pedal.... both didn't have any negative outcome. As "non cosmetic" as the gear install is, I feel like a completely new person driving it....haha.

The ARB diff covers I put on have the magnetic dip stick to catch any shavings, etc. I think that's a pretty cool feature.

I said im gonna be making some changes to my jeep in the next couple months....mind you, its ALL done already except for putting on my rear bumper and tire carrier, haha. So, the couple of months was really a couple weeks....
