Read the link below. The shifter cable clip may have broken off due to its poor design

I agree with above. Your T-case shifter cable clip probably broke from popping it from 2WD to 4WDL trying to figure out your locker situation.

That's an easy fix, no damage to anything substantial.

I had the exact same issue. The shop that installed my gears broke the sensor that tells the sensor if the gears are locked or not...so all I got was a flashing light. They fixed it for free and everything works great now.

My cable clip was broken. I got it fixed under warranty while I waited. It didn't take 45 min.

I am going to take it to a different drive train shop for a fix on the indicator light.

One of my prior post was a little tough on the guy who installed gears. He is a very experienced mechanic. However this was his first try with the electronic lockers. Unfortunately, I don't live in an area where anyone has much experience with electronic lockers and I am not very mechanical.

I took the jeep to a drive line shop. Apparently they have done about 8 Rubicon regears and are very familiar with the electronic lockers. It appears my first installer damaged practically every electrical connector in the rear dif. I am having a hard time believing he did not realize this especially when one piece had silicone on it and I took it back to him 3 times because of the malfunctioning indicator light. He will not be working on my jeep anymore. I understand those connectors are easy to break but damn just come clean and tell me.

Long as it is fixed before the next ride Sorry you are going through all that trouble, but I am glad I pointed you in the direction of a reliable mechanic

See if this helps -

Do a search for 'plunger' or 'locker switch'. What the mechanic did was install the carrier in without setting the little plunger switch correctly. The button on the switch It is supposed to be on the inside of the metal plate, and this allows the switch to be oulled out when the locker is engaged. What is happening now is your locker IS engaging but the since the switch isn't telling the ststem this it flashes the locker light. Other than annoying it won't cause any problem. I found this https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/modified-jk-tech-2/gear-install-front-locker-troubles-dana-44-a-87267/
